The Create A Bear quest serves as the emotional climax for Sadness's storyline in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Players must complete a series of memory-restoration tasks and crafting objectives to help Sadness find closure. Understanding each phase of the mission ensures a smooth gameplay experience while unlocking unique story rewards.

Finding the Lost Memory Fragments

To initiate the questline, players need to search key locations for three glowing Memory Fragments scattered throughout the realm. The first fragment lies right outside your house in the main valley area. Subsequent fragments are located on the top floor of the Dream Castle and near the main console inside the Inside Out Realm.

Reassembling Memories at the Headquarters Console

After gathering all three fragments, return to the main console in the Inside Out Headquarters to access Developer Mode. Players must cycle through the images using the console buttons until the sequence reflects the full story of the plush bear. Correctly configuring the console unlocks a Lost Diary Page containing vital memory details.

Crafting the New Comfort Bear

Rebuilding the plush toy requires gathering various gems, cotton, fiber, and floral materials at crafting stations. You will craft a Special Plush Bear Sewing Machine and Plush Bear Framework before assembling the final New Comfort Bear. Once completed, place the bear within the valley using Furniture Mode to showcase it to Sadness.

Celebrating Emotions and Unlocking Rewards

The final stage requires decorating the area surrounding the bear with five blue and yellow items selected from Sadness's quest filter. Speaking with Joy triggers a festive fireworks display to commemorate the completion of Sadness's personal journey. Finishing the quest rewards players with exclusive character outfits and a special Touch of Magic item.
